Although we implement simple corporate web sites, we usually deal with more complicated, database-driven web solutions, such as web portals, e-commerce sites, product databases, community sites and a variety of other sophisticated web applications.

Most of the web sites we've developed are database driven. We build low - cost database solutions using the MySQL web database.

Website Development Process

We believe it is critical to the success of your project for you to understand our approach to creating your custom Website. With our controls and checkpoints, almost all of the sites that we develop are completed on time and to the complete satisfaction of our client. Below is a brief outline of the process we follow:

1st Step – Website Planning

The first Step of your Website project is gathering information and research. We learn more about your business, who your target audience is, your expectations of what the Website will do as well as what content you want included in your web site (architecture or site map).

Once we enter into an agreement, we will proceed with the 2nd Step. At this time we will also provide you access to our development area, where you will be able to login and see the progress of your project.

 

2nd Step – Website Architecture and Design

The next Step is the conclusion of your website architecture (site map) and the design of several unique prototypes of your Website. This includes mock-ups of navigation, content and graphical placeholders. You will receive different prototypes from which to choose from.

The goal of this step is for you to select the prototype that is closest to what you had in mind. From there we can make two additional rounds of changes. In extremely rare cases, additional prototypes are required and can be provided for an extra fee.

Logo design and content development are also performed during this step if you've retained us for these services.

 

3rd Step – Website Development

After selecting the chosen prototype, we will code the site and incorporate the content and graphics into the new design. During this process we will create a style guide that will be used throughout the site to ensure the content is delivered in a clean and consistent manner compatible with the most popular browsers. The site will be temporarily hosted on our servers and available for you to view. Throughout the development process, you are able to see the progress.

 

4th Step – Website Deployment

One last approval from you and we are ready to launch your Website. But first we must give your new site the last test to ensure everything is functioning as planned, every link is linked and every word is spell-checked. After this final step and upon receipt of payment, we will then make the site live on your hosting space for the entire world to see!

We will also provide you with a CD of your entire site at the completion of the project.
